Nano Tip Hair Extensions — Care & Maintenance Instructions

Proper aftercare helps maintain the softness, shine, smoothness, and longevity of Nano Tip extensions.

1. Brushing

Brush gently 2–3 times daily with an extension-friendly brush.
Start at the ends and work upward toward the roots.
Hold the hair near the nano beads while brushing to reduce tension.
Never pull or force through tangles.

2. Washing

Use a sulfate-free, extension-friendly shampoo.
Massage the scalp gently without aggressively rubbing the nano beads.
Apply conditioner from the mid-lengths to the ends.
Avoid conditioner, oils, and heavy treatments directly on the nano beads.

3. Drying

Gently squeeze excess water from the hair; don't rub vigorously.
Never sleep with wet extensions.
Thoroughly dry the roots and nano bead area.
Use low-to-medium heat whenever possible.

4. Heat Styling

Always use a heat protectant before using hot tools.
Avoid direct, prolonged heat on the nano beads.
Keep temperatures moderate and minimize frequent high-heat styling.

5. Sleeping

Brush the hair gently before going to bed.
Tie it in a loose braid or low ponytail.
Make sure the extensions are completely dry.
A silk or satin pillowcase can help reduce friction and tangling.

6. Swimming

Wet the hair with fresh water before swimming.
Secure the hair in a loose braid.
Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after swimming.
Minimize prolonged exposure to chlorine and salt water.

7. Products to Avoid

Avoid heavy oils and greasy products near the nano beads.
Avoid harsh chemical treatments around the attachment area.
Use extension-safe styling and conditioning products.

8. Professional Maintenance

Nano Tip extensions generally need professional maintenance every 6–10 weeks, depending on natural hair growth.
Have the beads professionally removed and repositioned.
Never pull, cut, or remove the extensions yourself.
